This client hired us to manage the production of their veggie garden. We can do that! In any given week, they can expect to have blueberries, raspberries, snap peas, pole beans, watermelon, cantaloupe, crookneck squash, zucchini, cucumber, onions, beets, broccoli, carrots, tomatoes, lettuce, potatoes, and various herbs.
To maximize yield and reduce insect pest (like cucumber beetle and squash bugs) we have instituted strategies such as but not limited to: succession planning, companion planting native perennial flowers, applying compost yearly, crop rotation, and direct pest destruction. We started managing this garden in May of 2023.
Expose yourself to edible flowers! Eat the rainbow right?
