Snowberry is a tough, adaptable native shrub known for its clusters of white berries that persist into winter. Its small pink flowers provide nectar for pollinators, while the dense branching habit creates shelter for birds and other wildlife. Snowberry is especially useful for filling difficult spaces and stabilizing slopes.

Water: Low to medium moisture; adaptable once established

Plant with: Douglas aster and geum for a pollinator-friendly shrub border, or sword fern and vine maple for a layered woodland planting.
Perfect for hedges, wildlife gardens, slopes, woodland edges, and naturalized plantings. Prune occasionally to maintain a compact form or let it grow into a loose, wildlife-friendly thicket.
